ZOGA MULTIDIMENSIONAL MOVEMENT® INTRODUCTION

Training for physiotherapists specialising in various fields of sports medicine, conservative and surgical orthopedics, movement and manual therapists, massage technicians, coaches, movement instructors, yoga and fitness teachers, as well as students of the above disciplines.

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

During this training, participants will be introduced to the fundamental principles of working with the Zoga Movement® method. They will be presented with the concept of relative tissue motion and its impact on chain reactions in joints, which conditions the possibility of free movement. They will also learn the basics of postural analysis and biomechanical analysis of the body in motion. The next step will be to experience how properly designed movement sequences can bring about changes in the spatial organisation of the body in gravity and restore greater movement potential in both their own body and that of the patient.

Additionally, participants will become familiar with effective manual techniques and assisted movement techniques that help achieve both local and global changes in the biomechanical system of their patients.

Zoga Movement® represents a new way of thinking about human biomechanics and about how movement influences relationships between all anatomical structures in relation to one another and to gravity. It is a concept that begins with assessment, then removes restrictions, and increases the possibilities for maintaining body health in every aspect.

Zoga Movement® is a therapeutic concept developed by Wojtek Cackowski. It is a method based on movement supported by manual interventions, directed at anyone seeking freedom and awareness of movement and posture in all dimensions, experiencing them in their full form. It tests all possible body relationships to gravity and creates multiple global and local movement vectors available within the body. It uses the Anatomy Trains myofascial meridians to guide biomechanical interventions around the fascial tensegrity system.

Yoga asanas serve as functional tests and positions that evoke pulling vectors between fascial layers.
Zoga Movement® is designed to support and achieve the goals of structural integration and to create lasting changes in the organisation of the human myofascial system.

ZOGA MULTIDIMENSIONAL MOVEMENT® is a practical training where you will experience and learn:

  • skills in reading the body and identifying restrictions in tissue glide,
  • using and directing movement to achieve efficient and balanced functioning in gravity, reaching equilibrium and minimising energy expenditure,
  • the ability to perform effective manual interventions restoring free motion between fascial layers.

You will learn:

  • how fascial layers influence one another,
  • how the fascial meridians (Anatomy Trains) are organised,
  • how the anatomical lines and their components respond to stretching, tension, and pulling,
  • how specific asanas create stretch in elements of the fascial lines and restore glide between particular tissue layers,
  • how to use postural and functional assessments to create treatment strategies,
  • how to help clients and patients rediscover movement in areas where it has been lost,
  • how to use manual interventions to restore proper glide between fascial layers.

ABOUT WOJTEK CACKOWSKI

Wojciech (Wojtek) Cackowski is a certified practitioner of Structural Integration (ATSI), with an educational background in sports education and physiotherapy. With over ten years of experience, he combines manual therapy and yoga with myofascial therapy. He is the founder of the Zoga Movement® project, influenced by in-depth research on the layered movement of fascia anatomy, conducted on cadavers.

As a certified Scarwork, Bonework teacher, and specialist in structural integration, he contributes to clinical applications for neurological children, scoliosis, and foot specialists.

Currently, Wojtek is teaching Scarwork and Bonework methods and collaborating with medical specialists in Ukraine. His efforts focus on helping patients with scars and infants in the neonatology department, which represents another example of his commitment to holistic healthcare.
